EXAMINATION REPORT FOR 2008

Lancashire continues with successes in all areas. We had 9 candidates successfully took the Basic Certificate this year, more than double last year. I hope branches will continue to encourage members to take the Basic Exam. It is surely the 'Driving Licence' for beekeeping. The Leonard Ross Memorial Trophy and medal for the best result in the Basic Assessment in 2008 was awarded to Stuart Brakewell of Lancaster branch.

We had 16 successes in 7 different Modules, with 4 credits and two distinctions. As a result of Module successes there were four passes in Intermediate Certificate. We should congratulate all these people for their hard work. A list of all the successes follows. The Certificates will be presented at the Convention.
